I've been trying to contact support by e-mail but every address I try bounces:
support@hostingfreak.net sales@ info@
SMTP error 500 - unknown user.
Maybe it's just me, but thought you ought to know.
Anyway, dumb user that I am, I seem to have forgotten my login details for the DirectAdmin portal. This was my original attempt to get support.
Which brings me to the issue at hand! I'd like to increase the disk space available to my account. Could someone kindly get in touch with me about that?
Regards, Liam.

Hi we replied to your ticket but for the benefit of the public since we dont hide anything, the web2 server was down for 5 hours due to a problem with eaccelerator module crashing and causing httpd to core dump. This built up processes and caused other services to become unresponsive and lasted for approx 5 hours, we hope to have the situation fully resolved now.
This forum is hosted on web2 the same server.

Hi,
Your forum has the same IP than mine:
How come it work and not my site. I suppose your using a different server, then please why don't you switch me on a working server.
Also, how come the server information page shows that everything is working fine? This is not true! I'm down since the beginning of the evening. Been down for over 5 hours now...
Please, do something.
Thanks.
Boris.
PS I sent many suppoort tickets but no answers yet tonight.

The mysql locked up and caused the server to become unresponsive, we apologise for the lag during that time period. This should now be fixed.
The server wasnt down it was just under high load because of the mysql problem. When we find out what caused the lockup we will try to avoid the same thing happening again.

We had an outage caused by a configuration error on the cross peer's causing web2 to lose connectivity, which was fixed by modifying the core switch equipment. It happened at around 10pm on the 25th and was resolved in under an hour.
Everything is normal again now.
